A Fall Road Trip from Boston to Montréal

🚗 This was our autumn road trip, driving as a family all the way from Boston to Montréal. It’s a five-hour drive — which sounds long, until you realize that five hours of fall colors isn’t nearly enough! The trees were glowing in gold and red, and every turn looked like a postcard.

Montréal was fascinating — a city that feels half French, half English, where history and modern life blend so naturally. I loved wandering around Old Montréal, with its cobblestone streets, cozy cafés, and friendly locals.

The highlight for me was the Notre-Dame Basilica. It doesn’t look anything like the one in Saigon, but it has its own charm — calm, majestic, and full of shimmering lights that make you stand still in awe.

🚗 Đây là chuyến road trip mùa thu mà cả nhà mình lái xe xuyên biên giới từ Boston đến Montréal. Nghe nói 5 tiếng lái xe tưởng là xa, mà thật ra ngắm mùa thu 5 tiếng vẫn thấy không đủ — lá vàng, lá đỏ trải dài dọc đường, mỗi khúc quanh là một khung hình đẹp như tranh.

Thành phố Montréal thật thú vị, vừa nửa Pháp nửa Anh, lại vừa cổ điển vừa hiện đại. Mình đặc biệt thích khu Old Montréal lát đá cổ, quán cà phê nhỏ xinh, và những người dân thân thiện luôn mỉm cười.

Điều gây ấn tượng nhất là Nhà thờ Đức Bà Notre-Dame — dù không giống gì với Notre-Dame ở Sài Gòn, nhưng lại mang vẻ trầm mặc và huyền bí riêng, với ánh đèn lung linh bên trong khiến ai cũng phải thốt lên “Wow!”.

🍂 Một hành trình ngắn, nhưng đầy cảm xúc — và chắc chắn, mùa thu Canada sẽ luôn là mùa thu mình nhớ nhất.
